cerebral cortex : 대뇌 피질

cerebellum : 소뇌

meninges : 뇌막

전정기능 검사중 하나, nystagmus 반응 없다면 brainstem damage 추정가능

diagnostic test

1. skull and spinal radiography

2. computed tomography = CT : withhold metformin if contrast dye used ( sactic acidosis ) 

metformin 이 dye 와 만날경우 lactic acidosis 유발가능,, 앞뒤로 48hr 는 복용하지말것을 권고

3. MRI → Preg 의 경우 양수의 온도 올릴수 있고 태아 영향 미칠 수,도, 있기 때문에 precaution,, 요즘 임상적으로 꼭 필요한 경우 저강도 mri로 촬영하기도 한다고함.

4. LP

5. Cerebral angiography

6. electroencephalography : EEG,, Caffeine, tea 등 ㄴㄴ,, post wash the patient's hair

temp slow rise is infection

babinski's reflex 2살 이상에서 나타난다면 CNS disease

loss of the Corneal reflex is dysfunction of cranial nerve V

loss of the gag reflex is dysfunction of cranial nerve IX , X

Monitor drainage from nose and ears → csf 가능성
